Good evening readers! I hope your week has been treating you well. Today is the day that the Face Of Halloween does their first cut and I’ve been a ball of nerves all day. But as of 7 pm PDT or for me 10 pm EST it’s official and the votes are in! Let’s brew about it!
I MADE IT!!! The first cut has been made and I’m in the running still to be the Face Of Halloween 2025. I still don’t have any clue FOR SURE if there are other groups that will converge or if its just us 20 contestants. But if there is more than, I better stay on my toes. The next cut is September the 11th at 7pm PDT. So, best believe around the clock posts on social media will be made to keep myself relevant as possible. However, besides the thrill of competition and the grand prizes what’s the true story or core behind this competition? The Starlight Children’s Foundation, all the proceeds go to this wonderful organization.

Starlight Children’s Foundation has been helping hospitalized children since 1982. The donations help to provide more comfortable and fun hospital gowns. I know, the word, fun, seems out of place in conjunction with hospital gown, but if your hospitalized you’re already miserable so why not have something that is a little bit more fun and comfortable while feeling your worst. They also provide handheld games and areas for kiddos to meet with other kids AND toys. Kids are tiny humans in bodies meant to be in motion, not bedridden and miserable in a unfamiliar place. I know personally I would miss feeling normal, home and my family, but having a caring foundation like Starlight Children’s Foundation would be a shining light in the surrounding darkness.
I can’t put into words how lucky it feels to be a part of something greater and can only hope that I make it to the final round to meet these little warriors. Please, help me win by clicking on the link below, every vote counts and for those that have I thank you and for those that haven’t don’t hesitate to vote and donate today!
