Good evening readers, I can’t believe how fast September is slipping through our fingers! It’s almost time for Halloween, feeling a desire to run through the cornfield? I’ve been meaning to see if there will be any fall festivals or pumpkin patches nearby.. BUT as I have some research to do on that I want to talk about R.I.P’s, let’s brew about it!
So, if you haven’t seen my reel on Tuesday, I had made my way down to Kinkos to get my stencil printed. I had work in a matter of hours but I needed it done so I could use the weekend to detail and paint. BUT I have it in hand and will be cutting it out tomorrow night while I wait for the next cut on the Face Of Halloween competition.

I’m using a mashup of the Wicked Makers, James and Jay and another creator Cheryl Callender, for designs, tools, and materials. I LOVE Hocus Pocus and I couldn’t think of a decent spooky rhyme or design idea other than the shape, so I thought why not a Hocus Pocus themed headstone? There’s a tombstone for Emily Binx, Billy Butcherson, and even the Sanderson sisters, but not one for Thackery Binx, the iconic talking black cat. So, as I did my research, I found Cheryl Callender’s design! I thought I’d have to carve out a cat/ cat head out of the installation board, but thankfully, Cheryl had worked smarter not harder on this part and used a cat mask. The cat mask was hard to find and the shipping was more than the mask itself.
But I’m excited to get down to business ! Also, for those that have voted for me, thank you so much and for those that haven’t there’s still time. Your 1 vote resets after 24 hours, and if you have some coin just know it’s going to a good cause, The Starlight Children’s Foundation.
